There are plenty of possibilities to get involved in the struggle in La ZAD and plenty of other ways to fight for autonomous zones and free life and against capitalism, authority and control.
La ZAD is only one example on which we want to focus here. We also want to encourage you to take everything that happens in and around the ZAD as an inspiration for many other existing projects and those still to be launched.
We also want to raise those questions: What possibilities of action are there in our own life and area (if this is not the ZAD anyway) to organize with other people? Maybe People we are usually not meant to get in contact with because social isolation is a main tool to keep the system going. How can we together find the weak spots in the system. Challenge them. Search for the lose bricks in the wall that keeps us imprisoned in society constraints, material distress and isolates us from each other. Break lose those bricks to reach for our open hands through the holes and finally break down the walls.
What are the possibilities concerning the ZAD:
– Visit La ZAD! Live in La ZAD! If you like to build, cook, play music, demonstrate, be disobedient or just care for others – you will find your place. Basic information: Directions and General Information
– Bring Material! Even if you only want to pass by briefly and you have capacities to bring along some smaller or bigger things, you should check the list of materials that could be useful here… Maybe you find something you want to give away or something you want to get for the ZAD.
– Work with us on the this blog! To keep this Blog up-to-date, well structured and in three different languages takes a lot of energy. The more we are the better. Even if you can only contribute occasionally its great. Just write to “zadinfo at riseup dot net” and we will see how we can work on it (e-mail lists, direct contact, …). Of course you can always write us if you notice any mistakes or you have suggestions on how to improve the blog.

– Found Support-Groups! Maybe you have already been on the ZAD or got information through the various sites and blogs about the ZAD. Groups that work as platforms for sharing information and connecting people interested in the topic can be a great support. Local information events on specific occasions like evictions or just for the sake of taking about it keep the subject in the common consciousness. And after all it can be a great tool to mobilize people fast and plenty.
